LEWIS (not clearly struck) on obv. and partial mark on rev. of Brock Monument ½ penny, 1816, Br 724 (M.I. 586, Brunk L-333). According to Brunk, this may represent Isaac Lewis of Ridgefield and Huntington, CT, a silversmith born in 1773, died in 1860. Piece holed; E. RICE. on obv. & rev. of Leslie & Sons ½ penny, Br 718 (M.I. 768); S R engraved on obv. of Brock Monument ½ penny, 1816, Br 724; A.M. TAYLOR on obv. of Commercial Change ½ penny, 1820, Br 727.
