Northwest medal, Fabulous shooting medal, and Dominion of Canada Rifle Association Medal. All medals won by Staff Sergeant S.F. Walker of the Queen's Own Rifles based in Toronto. There were 264 NW medals issued to NCO's, named on edge. The shooting medal won by Walker is an outstanding ornately made silver medal. It was produced by Welch and Trowern of Toronto who made badges and lodge regalia in the 1880's. They were in business from 1880 to 1886 approximately. The case is damaged. Walker is the grandfather of Casey Baldwin of aviation fame. Silver medal, presented to "Staff Sergt Walker, Highest Grand Aggregate QOR Annual Match 1880".
