Silver 38mm Medal Charlton # 5150-5 by Caron Freres. Obverse: naked athletes waving banners, Reverse: Field Day Olympic Trials, June 1st, 1912, all within wreath of maple leaves. Ahead of the Summer Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 two Olympic trials were held in Canada; one in Toronto on 1 June, hosted by Eaton’s department store, the second in Montreal on 8 June. In the press, it was referred to as The Eaton's Games and took place at Hanlan's Point Stadium or Island Stadium.
