Thomas Elder's Canadian Tokens.

Close copy of the obverse of Br 690. Rev. SPEED THE PLOUGH/IT FEEDS ALL. Al. E.F. Delorey 81. Bowman A.; Same Bouquet copy obverse. Rev. DEDICATED/TO/COIN/COLLECTORS/OF/CANADA. Al. E.F. Delorey 84. Bowman B; Another of same, but in fibre. E.F. Delorey 84. Bowman B. Rare. Bowman has said of these tokens that they were brought to the A.N.A. Convention in Montreal in 1909 and presented to friends, as well as being sold to collectors. Tom Delorey didn't believe that the pieces were distributed in Montreal. The dies were still extant for most of these, as in the late 50's Robert Bashlow produced uniface examples on large-size planchets of some, including the Speed the Plow, and Bouquet Sou. 3 Pcs.
