76.7mm. 211.1g. Plain edge. Signed RAYMOND DELAMARRE. As last, but in silver and rare as such. In their offering of an example in April 1981, Seaby reported that only 125 pieces were struck. Although we have not been able to corroborate that figure, it seems about right given the infrequency of auction appearances. Both sides show blended shades of blue, green, and lavender patina. There are small marks and rim nicks, none of which significantly distract. Included is the medal’s original blue case and paperwork. From the Michael Joffre Collection of Canadian Historical Medals.
