Jamieson-39. 64.6mm. 115.1g (with ribbon and bar). Plain edge with loop at 12 o’clock, as issued. Signed P.W. ELLIS. As last, but in copper and retaining its original red, white, and blue ribbon and its pin bar. A total of 295 copper medals were reportedly struck and distributed as part of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York’s 1901 visit to Calgary. This example has beautiful mahogany-brown surfaces with minimal marks and considerable flashiness in the fields.
This is part of the Geoffrey Bell Collection.
