ANDREWS / CHAPTER. on obv. of Nova Scotia penny, 1856, Br 875 (Brunk S-807); TW on rev. of Nova Scotia ½ penny, 1840, Br 874; VEZINA on rev. of Nova Scotia ½ penny, 1832, Br 871 (M.I. 943). The size of the lettering gradually increases from its shortest height at the beginning of the mark, to its tallest at the end; W 8 on obv. of Nova Scotia cent, 1861, Br 877; XX on obv. of Province of Nova Scotia penny, 1856, Br 875; XX on obv. of Province of Nova Scotia ½ penny, 1856, Br 876. This and the previous mark are very similar; 18 and 40 (1840?) counterpunched on rev. of Commercial Change ½ penny, 1815, Br 885 (M.I. 1052); a flower, possibly engraved, on obv. of Nova Scotia ½ penny, 1840, Br 874; addorsed pair of K’s with central rev. relief dot on obv. & rev. of Trade & Navigation ½ penny, 1820, Br 894, rusted die var. (M.I. 1071); a small pipe or tool on obv. of Nova Scotia cent, 1861, Br 877 (M.I. 1075); what may be a trident within circular cartouche on rev. of Nova Scotia ½ penny, 1832, Br 871 (M.I. 1079); appearing to be the same mark as previous (trident) on obv. of Nova Scotia counterfeit ½ penny, 1832, Br 871 (M.I. 1080). 14 pcs
