CH 375-16-24C. Perforated VOID twice, at signature panel and overprinted COUNTERFEIT numerous times, in pink ink, front and back. These interesting notes were counterfeited by the Germans during World War One. It was an attempt to undermine the Canadian financial system. However, the quality of the counterfeits was not optimal and when presented for redemption in northwest Iran, they were overprint by the Imperial Bank of Resht and then cancelled. This example is certified by PMG and graded AU-58, tied for finest graded with only two others. S/N: 92583/A.
