Unlisted by Gingras. The discovery of the Hoard was described, and pieces analysed, by Mr. Greg Ingram and printed in several numismatic publications, including the Numismatic Canada, in the March 2010 issue [Vol. 9, #1, Issue 33, pages 2-11]. Mr. Ingram indicated only denominations of 10, 50, and 100 were found with no specimens for the 5 and 25. The tokens are somewhat similar to the 1946 Eastern Arctic issue [Gingras 285, a, b, c and d] but differ in size and weight. The Hoard contained the following uncorroded pieces: 25 of the 100 denomination, 69 of the 50 denomination, and 27 of the 10 denomination; there were also 125 badly corroded 10 denominated pieces. The incuse “HBC” and the numerals have a white appearance, from what appears to be the result of titanium oxide in the aluminum alloy. This lot is comprised of the 10, 50 and 100 denominated tokens. Weight & Diameter: 1.61gms-21mm; 3.29gms-29mm; 5.59gms-28mm, respectively. Alum. base, incuse. EF/AU. Rare. 3 Pcs.
