Lot of Five Medals - Consisting of a Canadian Volunteer Service Medal in box of issue and four marksmanship medals. Two Dominion Marksman piston medals bearing the legend "DOMINION MARKSMAN" over crossed pistols (left an automatic and right a revolver) with a metal overlay consisting of a maple leaf bearing the letters "DM" beneath the crossed pistols. Both medals are bronze coloured; on one the overlay is bronze coloured and on the other medal the overlay is silver coloured. A bronze Dominion of Canada Rifle Association medal bearing the edge inscription "1951 LIEUT.W.J.OLMSTEAD". A silver Dominion of Canada Rifle Association medal bearing the edge inscription "LIEUT.W.J. OLMSTEAD 1954 SUSSEX N.B.". Lieutenant William James OLMSTEAD served in the post war militia with the Carleton and York Regiment and later with the Royal New Brunswick Regiment.
