Lot of two. Each 32.3mm with plain edges and unsigned (believed to be by J.S. & A.B. Wyon). 1.) Copper. 18.2g. About 40% to 50% red with gorgeous original surfaces. Included is a late-19th or early-20th century paper envelope that reads “1853 LEROUX / ‘VERY RARE’ / DIES DESTROYED / ONLY 75 ISSUED / SCHOLAR-SHIP MEDAL / METHODIST UNIVERSITY / COBOURG $3.00” 2.) White metal. 12.5g. Subdued silver-grey surfaces but with minimal marks. Ex: Nicolet Seminary Collection (Champagne Auctions, 5/2017), lot 325.
