CH PEI-19. The Island adopted decimal currency in 1871, the last of the colonies now comprising Canada to do so. A new issue of treasury notes in $10 & $20 denominations was released to replace the former notes expressed in pounds and shillings. Only a small quantity of notes were put into circulation. Expect spirited bidding, very rare. Ex: Geoffrey Bell, Cameron.
