CH PEI-14. The Island of St. John, now known as Prince Edward Island, was one of the first colonies in British North America to issue Treasury notes. These are very rare and Charlton states "issued treasury notes are usually found cancelled with number and signatures inked out". The note is mounted on cheesecloth, even with a corner removed it has all the desired characteristics that an advanced collector would seek. It's complete with signatures and serial number. S/N:2317.
