Rare Hunterstown Token BR 567, the very rare Hunterstown token, probably issued by William Parker for use in his lumber company store in the village of Hunterstown located on the Rivière-du-Loup above the north shore of the St. Lawrence about halfway between Montreal and Quebec City. This token was much sought after by early collectors and appeared in most major collections. See the article in Jeffrey Hoare Auctions, September 22-23, 2012, lot 268. This example grades ICCS VF-30, but is neatly holed from the obverse at the G of GOODS.

Note this lot is part of the Geoffrey Bell Collection.
