Auction Details

We are pleased to present our first auction to be held in conjunction with the Toronto Coin Expo. We feature three major collections for your consideration. The Canadian pattern and trial decimal collection is the finest to be offered in recent memory. The Canadian error banknote collection is second to none. The Newfoundland Union and Commercial banknote collection is virtually complete and seldom seen. Along with several other consignors, we feel there are very special specimens for even the most sophisticated collection. Be sure to study the catalogue carefully as you are unlikely to see many of these lots offered for generations down the road.

Credit and Deposits: All bidders must be approved. Those who do not have an established relationship with Geoffrey Bell Auctions must provide an approved reference or a credit guarantee prior to the sale.


Auction Conduct: All our starting bids will be opened at approximately 10% above the second highest mail or computer bid. If there are no mail bids, auctioneer will start the bids at the reserve price or half of the low estimate, advances are at the discretion of the auctioneer.
