The Cataloguers have taken every reasonable measure to ensure that all the lots are as described by Geoffrey Bell Auctions. Many of the lots are third party graded by PCGS, PMG, ICCS - We feel these are the most recognized grading companies in the industry.
Wood 33. - CH BL-37. N.S. 5.74 grams. P*D, with harp of four strings above, and pair of shamrocks below, counterstamped over the obverse of Wood 33. Approximately twenty pieces have been seen counterstamped over Wood 33, the most frequently used coin for this countermark. I suggested in Marked Impressions that the mark may represent that of a silversmith, or more likely jeweller of Montreal and Quebec City named Peter Devlin, whose mark has not yet been identified on examples of Canadian silver. VG. Ex-Ringo, Baker, Buth Coll.

Note this lot is part of the Richard Cooper Collection.
