1 - heavy and thick Silver Medal in original case Hampshire Milk Recording Society Hursley Park Challenge Cup 1st Prize Stockman's Prize Harry Smith 1939 (The Alexander Clark Co. Ltd. Medallists London & Birmingham—these cups were held from 1907 forward;
2 - Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland medal—awarded to John Stewart Kinloch Lodge for Ploughing 1878 in original case—Alexander Ramsey's book at the University of Toronto Library “History of the Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland for the 1870s confirms Stewart receiving numerous awards for ploughing and stock;
3 - UK Medal—Ryedale and Pickering Lythe West Agricultural Association Horses / John Baker Esq. for Extra Stock Exhibited at Pickering August 1856 (not to be confused with England Lt-Gen. who was also named John Baker Esq. in 1856—info sheet on the correct recipient who was transplanted to Australia is with the medal)—Ryedale Show is one of the largest one day shows in North Yorkshire, running in excess of 90 classes for Horses and Ponies. The show is located in Welburn Park near Kirkbymoorside, within the natural amphitheatre of the parkland, visitors and exhibitors have eight rings of horse classes;
4 - thick and heavy medal—Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland medal awarded to Wm Walker Fyris II;
5 - Agriculture College Punch Pipe Silver 51mm medal awarded to Marie Victor 1898 — The Courier Champagne: Reims Log for 1898 lists this medal for Marie Victor. Olivier de Serres was an agronomist French, Protestant active and author of a comprehensive treaty, the Agriculture Theatre and husbandry fields which reached 19 editions from 1600 to 1675. He was one of the first to study scientifically agricultural techniques and to seek improvement through experimentation. He is considered the Father of Agronomy in France.
