Charlton-EONS-36. Lot of two (2) pieces. 1.) 31.5mm. 12.12g. Plain edge. Unsigned (Pritchard & Andrews). A beautiful black-and-white example with frosty devices and mirrored fields. Few marks present. 2.) 31.3mm. 11.28g. Plain edge. Unsigned. Initials “C L” counter stamped above the exhibition building. At the lower reverse where the date should be is a tooling groove with what appears to be remnants of a lion sterling mark. However, the piece is not silver. It has the look of lead but weighs less than the white medal example. A curious offering for the Ottawa specialist. Ex: Sale #62 (Jeffrey Hoare Auctions, 6/1999), lot 792.
